Leave a Legacy
Writing your Will for the first time may feel like a daunting task but it doesn’t have to be.
We always recommend using a solicitor or legal professional if you are thinking of writing or amending your Will. Our range of Will writing offers is free. Or you can visit the Law Society to find a solicitor in your local area.
How to leave a gift to Popham Kidney Support
Leaving a gift to Popham Kidney Support is more straightforward than you might expect. If you do decide to leave a gift to help people with kidney disease in your Will, there are 2 main types of gift you might choose – a share of your estate (residuary gift) or a set sum (pecuniary gift).
We have some suggested wording to add to your Will depending on which one you choose. You can take this along to an appointment with your chosen solicitor or legal professional.
Residuary gift (share of your estate):
“I leave………per cent of the residue of my real and personal estate to the Popham Kidney Support, 11 Tawe Business Village, Enterprise Park, Llansamlet Swansea SA7 9LA Charity Registration Number: 1160114
Pecuniary gift (set sum):
“I leave the sum of ………..(in words) pounds £……. (in figures) to Popham Kidney Support, 11 Tawe Business Village, Enterprise Park, Llansamlet Swansea SA7 9LA Charity Registration Number: 1160114

Leave a Legacy
Leaving a gift in your Will to Popham Kidney Support is more straightforward than you might expect.
We’ve partnered with The Will Group Wales to ensure anyone who wants to leave a gift to our charity in their Will, can get a professional Will written for FREE.
They will advise on matters such as inheritance tax and long-term care provision as well as your options for donating a legacy gift to our charity.
The Will Group will visit your home or office, or even conduct a virtual conversation if preferred. The process is very simple:
Step One
To start the ball rolling, ring Will Group Wales on 01656 728423 to arrange a meeting and quote Popham Kidney Support. The meeting, with one of the Will Group’s Will Writing Consultants, can take place in your home, office or virtually.
Step Two
The Will Group consultant will meet you for about an hour to guide you through your instruction form and answer any questions you might have.
Step Three
The Will Group will process your form and return it to you – any further queries can then be dealt with over the phone.
Step Four
Your printed and bound Last Will and Testament will be delivered to you and the witnessing of this document will be supervised. If you ask them to store it for you, a copy will also be left with you for your records.
And that’s it!
This should give you peace of mind that your final thoughts will be adhered to, and your gift to our charity will be gratefully received.
